The hidden problem

Looks finished. Isn’t ready.

AI can produce a polished page before the essentials are in place.

SEO gaps

Missing metadata, canonicals, internal links and structured data.

Heavy pages

Oversized media and unnecessary JavaScript slow every visit.

Access barriers

Weak semantics, focus handling, forms and contrast lock people out.

Launch friction

DNS, analytics, email and deployment remain unresolved.

The system beneath the prompt

Guardrails where mistakes cost most.

Your agent can explore the page without rewriting the standards beneath it.

Visual system

Tokens and components prevent random design drift without turning every site into the same template.

Agent instructions

Versioned Markdown keeps Codex, Claude Code, Cursor and other coding agents aligned.

Production checks

Automated checks surface a defined set of build, SEO, accessibility and performance issues before launch.

Inside the repository

A working system, stored with the code.

The email gets you started. The repository stays as the versioned source of truth throughout the build.

Astro foundation

Static-first architecture, TypeScript and islands only when the requirement earns them.

Business and site brief

Structured decisions in JSON and human-readable content in Markdown.

Design system

Tokens, layouts, patterns and sections designed to compose without visual drift.

Agent operating manual

Universal rules with thin adapters for each supported coding agent.

Production checks

Defined checks for builds, links, SEO, accessibility, performance, security, images and forms.

Deployment playbooks

Step-by-step guidance for GitHub, Cloudflare, domains, Resend, analytics and optional Stripe setup.

From idea to production

You decide. Your agent implements.

Open the repository

Clone or download your licensed copy and open it with your coding agent.

Describe the business

Answer guided questions about the audience, offer, proof, services and brand.

Review the website

Choose a visual direction, preview it and request changes in normal language.

Verify and publish

Run the production checks, review the results, connect the domain and deploy to your account.

Compare the workflow

Start with a blank repo—or a system behind it.

Brief & Ship sits between an unstructured AI build and hiring someone to implement the website for you.

Brief & Ship compared with a blank AI project, a hosted builder and custom implementation

This compares workflow categories, not identical products. Hosted-builder capabilities vary by platform and plan. Framer now supports external agents but does not offer HTML export for self-hosting. Is this an AI website builder?

No. Brief & Ship is the production system your coding agent follows: a repository, visual rules, components, documentation and checks. You keep using the agent you prefer.

Who is Brief & Ship for?

It is for independent professionals who already use Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode or another file-aware coding agent and want a more reliable foundation for their own business website. It is not a done-for-you service.

Do I need technical experience?

You do not need to write the website from scratch. Brief & Ship is self-service, so you should be comfortable opening a GitHub repository, working with a file-aware coding agent and following step-by-step instructions.

Which AI agents can I use?

The source of truth uses file-based Markdown, schemas and tests. The initial instructions cover Codex, Claude Code, Cursor and OpenCode; compatibility can vary as the tools change.

What does $159.00 USD include?

A licensed private repository for one commercial website, the visual system, agent instructions, defined pre-launch checks, deployment playbooks, email onboarding and 12 months of compatibility updates.

What support is included?

You receive 14 days of async support for repository access, installation and reproducible issues. Custom development, account recovery and configuration inside third-party accounts are not included.

What can the playbooks help me connect?

The playbooks explain how to connect domains, Cloudflare, GitHub, Resend, GA4, Tag Manager and optional Stripe. You approve every account change and keep control of your credentials. Provider support and legal or compliance decisions remain your responsibility.

Do I own the finished website?

Yes. The intended setup keeps the domain, repository, code, content and provider accounts in your name. The Brief & Ship source system remains licensed.

What doesn’t it guarantee?

It cannot guarantee rankings, conversions, legal compliance or a perfect Lighthouse score. Its checks surface a defined set of technical issues; they do not replace professional review in every discipline.

Ship with a system behind you.
