Product and technical requirements
The Launch Edition is a downloadable TGZ archive containing an Astro website starter, source files, design tokens, agent instructions, content schemas, validation scripts, and setup documentation. It is a self-serve source product for one website.
Installation requires Node.js 24.20.0, npm 11.19.0, a terminal, and the ability to extract a TGZ archive and work with a source repository. You need your own computer and internet connection. A file-aware coding agent can help you adapt the source. Hosting, domain registration, coding-agent subscriptions, and other provider services are separate purchases from your chosen providers.
The product does not include a hosted website, managed CMS, custom implementation, account operation, or a promise of search rankings, traffic, revenue, or a particular performance score.
Price and payment
The total price is USD 159, paid once through Stripe. This is the final amount charged by Brief & Ship, including any applicable taxes. There is no recurring Brief & Ship subscription or additional delivery charge. Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion charges under its own terms.
Before submitting payment, you can review the price and correct your checkout details. The purchase contract is concluded when payment succeeds.
Delivery
After payment is confirmed, your download link and a copy of these terms are sent to the email address entered at checkout. Download and save the TGZ archive in your own storage. If the message or link does not arrive or does not work, contact hello@briefandship.com with your order reference.
You can download immediately without giving up the consumer withdrawal right described below.
One-website source license
Following purchase, you may use and modify the Brief & Ship source to build and operate one website, including its local development, preview, and staging copies. The license has no recurring fee. A second website requires a separate license.
You may share the source privately with employees and contractors who collaborate on that website. They may use it only for that work and must follow these license restrictions.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the reusable Brief & Ship starter or product source, or offer it as a template, starter, or competing source product. Publishing the built website is permitted.
You retain ownership of your content, assets, domain, provider accounts, and site-specific work. Pau March retains ownership of the reusable Brief & Ship product source. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their own licenses; preserve their required notices. These restrictions do not reduce rights granted by those third-party licenses.
Support and updates
Contact hello@briefandship.com for help accessing your purchase and installing it in the documented environment. Include your order reference, product version, operating system, Node.js and npm versions, the command that failed, and sanitized error output. Do not send passwords, API keys, or unrelated personal data.
Included support covers access to the delivered files, documented installation and initialization, and reproducible defects in the unmodified product-controlled source. It does not include custom design, copywriting, migration, provider account administration, DNS or email operation, advertising, analytics implementation, or third-party billing.
Your statutory rights to conformity, remedies, and any updates required by applicable law are preserved. Contact us if the delivered product is defective or does not match the contract.
Consumer withdrawal and refunds
If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from this contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after the contract is concluded. This right remains available even if you download the product.
To withdraw, send a clear statement of your decision to hello@briefandship.com or to Pau March at Naturalista Rafael Cisternas, 4, 46010 Valencia, Spain. Sending the statement before the withdrawal period ends is sufficient. You may use the optional form below, but it is not required.
When you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after we are informed of your decision. We will use the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and will not charge a reimbursement fee. After withdrawal, stop using the Brief & Ship licensed source.
This withdrawal policy does not limit any other mandatory consumer right or remedy.

Mandatory rights and this version
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including consumer conformity remedies and access to the courts available under applicable law.
The version supplied with your order applies to that purchase. Later changes to the website terms do not replace your purchase terms.
